Mama & Baby Yoga

Kristine’s career background is in English Literature and Educational Leadership but with plenty of moves and changes as a military spouse, she has been able to explore other opportunities to work with children and adults, always weaving in her passion for mindfulness and yoga.

Her love of yoga began with an MTV Yoga DVD when she was around 18. It was fun and it kept her flexible for dance classes. However, she soon began to delve into all that yoga could offer and completed her 200 hr training in 2018. Since then, Kristine has also received certifications in Reiki and Ayurveda. She’s taught yoga to a variety of ages, young children to adults, in California and Japan. Currently she is on staff at GUD Yoga in Norfolk.

After the birth of her first child, Kristine enjoyed attending mommy/baby yoga classes and found a community of like-minded moms that became good friends. Her hope is to provide that same sense of welcoming and support that she felt in those first few months of postpartum.
